Ovulation pain still lingering?!

So every month when I ovulate, I have pretty bad pain. Ovulation pain or mittelschmerz. It usually last just a day or less, and then it's gone. Well this time, I had pretty bad, almost debilitating ovulation pain to where I almost couldn't stand. Most of the pain went away the next day. But there's still been a slight ache on and off that hasn't completely gone away since I ovulated. It's been almost two weeks since, and it still slightly hurts. What could cause this? Has anyone experienced this situation?
