Due to an argument I just got into

I want to post a friendly PSA

And no I didn’t leave my son in the car

The argument was not on here

But I just wanted to say

One of these days, if not now, you will have your routine

There will be days you are tired

And you have a million things on your mind

Something crazy will happen

Your routine will be screwed up

And I want to remind you,

That it’s okay to put that bag, wallet, phone in the back of your car to remind you that someone else is in it

I URGE YOU

Even if you don’t think you’ll forget

Even if you say you would never forget

I urge you to put something back there

We are all good moms

And parenting is hard

And I don’t judge you for taking extra steps to make sure you don’t make a mistake

Because yes, your little one is precious cargo

And they mean more to you than your purse or your wallet and your phone

I know that

But I also know that humans are a creature of habit

And when we have a routine, we tend to stick to it.

I will be the first to say I’ve had IMPORTANT appointments after work, and I’ve been late or missed them because I’ve driven home instead of taking a turn.

And I can not imagine the guilt of actually/ or even almost leaving a baby in the car unattended

It has to be unimaginable

But I understand how it can happen

Please no negative comments on this thread

I want this to be a place of positivity, and include a reminder
