Smelly discharge🤢

I’ve been having this yellow discharge that smells SO bad, like fish and I’m concerned as to what it is. I’m planning to make a trip to the doctor soon to find out but have any of you ladies had this symptom before? What did it turn out to be? I’ve had BV before and I thought it could be that but I’ve never had this kind of discharge with BV, usually it would be a thick white discharge instead.
