Not enough hcg present in your urine. You need to test as soon as you get up in the morning or wait at least 4 hours after the last time you've peed to test.

If the first one was positive, your probably really early on and you would have to either take a test first thing in the morning or hold your urine and not drink anything for at least 4 hours. I would say your urine was probably diluted.

Hcg is at its highest in the morning when you first per because you haven’t diluted it. ( you were asleep for 6+ hours) later in the afternoon you drink and eat already so hcg is more diluted. Test again tomorrow morning
