Your baby is great but...

Everyone talks about how happy my baby is, and yet in the same breath they make snotty remarks about how I parent, and I'm honestly just over it.

When my baby was 7 months old I still had her on a nap shcedule where she had 3 naps. She wasn't ready to drop a nap and I wasn't about to do it to appease everyone else. The judgy looks and comments I would get when people aksed me about her sleeping schedule were ridiculous.

When she turned 8 months old I dropped a nap and I STILL get flack about how much she sleeps.

She naps twice during the day and sleeps through the night. What's your issue? Because it's not how YOU think it should be done? You can miss me with that bullshit. The way I parent works for my baby.

I've resigned myself to the fact that I can't win. I'm just going to keep doing me and if anyone has a problem with it they can kiss my ass.
