What to get baby to sleep in

Question

Currently living in a 1 bedroom apartment. I’m having my son in October. We are of course going to share a room until my lease is up in April. After April, I’m moving into a 2 bedroom. I’m trying to figure out what would be best to buy for him to sleep in. Should I just go ahead and set up a crib in my room, a mini crib, or just a pack n play? I would just like some suggestions please.

I freaking love this co sleeper! It’s light & portable so bringing it with us on trips is so easy & the zip down side makes getting her in and out for night feeds so simple. 10/10 LOVE IT! 😅💕

I would get a pack n play because a crib is a lot to take apart when you move.

We had a bassinet for my daughter, she was born 10/23 and where she was premature on top of being petite she only outgrew the bassinet by april/may this year, even then she was still within weight requirements she had just learned how to pull herself up on her own.

A bassinet is small and portable. I have one in my room for my 6 week old. I have it right next to my bed with a nightlight on it so I can see him at all times.

I’m getting a pack and play for the living room area but a mini crib in a corner in our bedroom. We won’t be moving into a bigger place until march or later.

I would just do a pack and play. They are so convenient and easily to assemble and disassemble. Despite us having a four bedroom house and a full sized crib for her, our daughter slept in her pack and play next to our bed until she was 7.5 months old anyways, for safety. We plan to do the same with our coming son. 
We still use our pack and play nearly daily with our daughter who is almost 2, when we travel or visit friends or family through nap time. At home we still have it set up in the dining room and it serves as “time out” when discipline is needed.
