ITP in pregnancy
I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my first child and have ITP (idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura). The closer I get to my due date I can't help but worry just alittle about how my birth may go and the complications that can arise due to my low platelet count. But I'm trying to stay completely positive! So, I was just wondering if any other women who have been diagnosed with this autoimmune condition could possibly share their stories of birth with me. I'd really like to hear from women who understand what I'm going through. Thank you for sharing in advance :)
