TMI NEED HELP

So I went to my OB due to my vagina having severe itchiness and it seemed to be swollen as well as light yellow discharge. Dr did a swab and even said she feels like I have 2 infections one being yeast and BV. She even stated she saw the yellow discharge and how it was super irritated. They sent an email today saying everything came back normal and normally I would be ecstatic with this news but that can't be right. She prescribed me meds prior to results for yeast but it did nothing. It's so irritated it even bleeds when I wipe. This can't be normal right? Has anyone ever experienced something like this??
