At what age did your child fit 2t?

Doing some fall/winter shopping for my daughter and confused on what size up to get.  She currently fits 12 month and some 18 month items. Naturally, I was looking for 24 month clothing. Since denim is a more restrictive material, I’m wondering if buying 2t a smart idea. She wears cloth diapers so her bottoms fit more snug than regular disposable ones. She is still a rather petite baby (only 17 lbs currently)
Seeking sizing advice on buying jeans and thick winter clothes in advance.

My daughter started fitting 2t at 16 months. My friends daughter is 19 months and finally fitting an 18month so it really varies by kid.

My oldest was over 2 yrs and my youngest was 17 months when they fit into 2t . Just depends on the kid :)

How old is she? Her growth will slow a lot after a year. My girl has been in 12-18 month clothes for six months now and is 18 months old. She does wear some 2T or 18-24 month stuff because we got it for free, but it’s pretty big still.

My son fit 2T shirts around his 2nd birthday. With pants though he didn’t fit 2T until he was 2.5 and in the next season. He’s going to be 3 soon and still wears some 24M shorts.

She is 1 and wearing 18months-24 months clothes and some 2t. 😒😒 Got into a heated debate with a stranger in Wal-Mart for calling me a liar in saying she is 13 months old as of August 1st. 😒😒

My daughter started wearing 2t around age 2 and I'm guessing will fit in them until age 3 or a little more. Depending on the brand there isn't usually a huge difference between 24 months and 2t. We also use cloth diapers.

My first was in 2T clothing by his first bday but he's a chunk. He's two now and wears 4T shirts and 3T bottoms
