How much are your babies eating per feed?

I’m going back to work three days a week and need to know how much per bottle your babies are averaging. So far, she’ll eat 4oz from a bottle from my husband but wants to nurse sooner after that so not sure if it’s enough. Thanks!

Make sure you are only “comparing” to breastfed babies. Formula fed babies will take more oz on average.
Many babies will take a bottle but still breastfeed even if not truly hungry because nothing compares to mama :)
Many breastfeeding moms I know start with 3-4 oz bottles and adjust from there. When my second starts at daycare in a week, he will be there 9 hours and I will take 4 3.5 or 4-oz bottles. (Though he seems to only take 3 oz at home, so I may be able to cut back on that amount.)

We're almost 14 weeks and mine takes 7oz every 3 hours. He's larger than average for his age though, length-wise, so he's always been ahead of other babies in terms of amount he eats.

Mine generally does 5oz daytime and 3.5oz late night.  Anyone look at those practically perfect baby schedules?  They say he should be taking 8oz every 3 hours by like 3-4 months which is 40+ oz per day without late night feedings.  Seems a bit crazy.
