Eggwhite CM 4 days after my period !!??

Can anyone help me figure out why I’m having eggwhite CM on cycle day 8?? I always ovulate like clockwork between days 17-19 so what’s up with this CM so early? I literally was able to stretch it between my fingers almost a inch! I haven’t done a opk yet but I will next time I pee. Kinda makes me nervous bc I thought eggwhite cm is fertile cm and I don’t want to miss my chance. We’ve been trying for 6 months for baby #2 and I’ve never had EWCM this early before.
