Help? Post c section recovery

I had a c section last Wednesday the 24th, it was an emergency c section and very traumatic, however I’ve been healing fine. My doctor checked my incision on Thursday and said it looked great. However the last 2-3 days I’ve had a low fever and chills in the afternoon. They usually go away before it’s bedtime but I am starting to worry? She did mention I lost a lot of blood and almost needed a transfusion. Has this happened to anyone post c section? I don’t want to get my baby sick, I will call my doctor on Monday if it persists but wanted to see if any other c section mommas had this happen to them?
