Went in for the scheduled three hour glucose test. My phone was blowing up two hours after I got home.

-Test started at 98mg/dL

-Drank the glucose.

-1st hour 189mg/dL

-2nd hour 184mg/dL

-3rd hour 104mg/dL

I'm in my 31st week with an appointment coming up I already had on the books on August 9th the day after I hit 32 weeks.

They hit me with so much all at once--blood glucose checks four times per day. Fetal stress tests weekly. Another ultrasound at minimum to check lung development and overall growth. Steroid shots to strengthen my baby's lungs if pre term delivery is eminent. Then add the regular appointments I still have to do.

People ask me about my belly. I wanna cry. They ask me when I'm due--My baby has a scheduled c-section September 26th at 39 weeks. I look full term already and he dropped at 29 weeks.

I know he won't make it to his c-section--call it Mother's intuition. I hope he makes it as close as possible and that I'm ready when he his. My Husband and our three year old Son keep my mind off my fears most times.
