Hello ladies of <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">eve</a>. Yesterday my girlfriend of over one year and I went to the county fair with 2 of our lady friends. We were all drinking and eventually dancing in a mini “club” and every time I’d try to grab my girl to dance she’d push my arm away like she didnt wanna dance with me. It was no big deal but I did notice. A few drinks later, our two friends and I decided to take a restroom break while my girlfriend saved our spot and watched our drinks. After some long lines in the restroom we made our way back to our spot and I noticed a brand new mixed drink in my girlfriends hand and I saw her smirking and walking towards one of our friends giggling and high fiving her and pointing to the left and grabbed her and they both continued solo dancing. Based on this I put 2 and 2 together and realized she had a drink bought by someone so I stepped to the side and just rested against the wall. My girlfriend came up to me and asked me what was wrong and I asked where that drink came from and she said “this guy bought it for” and I said “ok I see, but I didn’t like the fact that you not only celebrated it in front of me but even went and told our friend first before me, I feel like that wasn’t respectful seeing as we came together” as soon as I was done talking she yelled at me at full voice “YOU DONT FUCKING OWN ME, OK, YOU DONT OWN ME!” In front of our friends and people in general. I felt so humiliated that I left. Guys I know I don’t own her and it wasn’t about “owning her” it was simply respect and common curtesy that you’re there with your girlfriend not a girls night out by yourself as a single woman, everything was done in front of my face and I didn’t like. She’s with me, she doesn’t need to accept drinks from anyone, guy or girl. And then the fact that I told her I didn’t like how it was handled for her to even go and yell at me like that, fuck.
