Possible bfp coming?

Hi I'm on cycle day 31 when I have 28 day cycles at the most. I am 2 days late and 16 dpo. tested first thing this morning and got a bfn. Has this happened to any one and still gotten a bfp? some of my symptoms have been cravings for spicy foods, hot flashes, tingling nipples and the day af was supposed to show I got a glob of snot like cm, which is unusual since before af I'm as dry as the sahara. I have also had tugging like cramps and gassyness.

Update: af arrived and angrier than ever. Period cramps are horrible
