Team green?

Question

Anyone team green have issues staying team green? I was wanting to wait until birth to know but now I'm second guessing on if I want to find out or not. It might just be me wanting to plan better before the baby is here. Or the fact that my 20 week scan is coming up. Who knows 🤷

We waited and it was so incredible. No one spoiled it, no one gifted us all one color of baby items, no one pressured us to reveal the names we picked. It was just a great experience and a special moment when I asked my husband if we had a dinosaur and he told me we had a son (I was under general anesthesia for delivery! 😆). If we have a second, we won’t find out.

My husband and I made the decision to not find out the gender of our first child. It was very difficult during the scans but once we got passed the appointment it was back to barely thinking about it! It was so worth it when our baby was born and the doctor announced “Its a girl!” I’ll never forgot that moment, it made the labor and delivery worth every ache and pain.

We waited with our first and it was the best! All pregnancy just talking and guessing. For my shower I got things I actually needed not just a bunch of pink or blue. That moment in delivery room when we were told it’s a girl. I wouldn’t change it for anything. We’re starting to ttc #2 and we will 100% wait to find out this time as well

I personally was so stressed out anytime someone even suggested I wait to find out until birth. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing a little bit more about who my baby would be. I was able to start referring to her by name, buying cute little dresses, paint her nursery, and all kinds of things like that. My husband was able to feel more connected to his daughter after finding out she's a she and I was too.
There's absolutely no shame in finding out the gender of your baby in advance 😊

I found out with my son, but this time around we decided not to. It was hard when one of my friends who was 2 weeks behind me in pregnancy found out. And again it was hard at 20 weeks. But I'm 22 weeks now, and I'm good to go. I can't wait to have this surprise! I like neutral colors anyway and my baby is gonna use a lot of brothers things. We are putting some money aside to go shopping after baby comes.also with the second pregnancy, it's easier because I already know what I need and what I will actually use.

I waited until birth and I will do that again. It is such a great surprise/experience having my husband announce. It never bothered me not knowing.

I should also add that I'm on my fourth and last child and I found out with all my other kids.
