Is it too early?🤷🏽‍♀️

Hi guys I’m 6+4 today just wondering is it too early to start buying baby stuff, as were living with parents now and have to get our own place o feel I should start picking stuff up because I just want to be more than prepared and getting a house aswell as paying for a baby will be expensive, any suggestions or advise on wether it’s too early to start buying things?

I'm all for being optimistic and chances of course are that you'll have a healthy pregnancy. But, personally I would still wait until at least the second trimester. Trust me, it may seem like short time now, but we're talking about 8 more months, that's more than enough time to get everything you want.

Personally I wait until the second trimester to start buying things. I spend the first trimester planning what I need and which items I'm going to buy, that way I know my budget and exactly what I will be purchasing. I make a list and as I decide on items I fill the list in. Then from my second trimester onwards I start to pick things up when I see them on sale or on offer. 
It's completely up to you when you start getting things but if I was in your shoes I would open a bank account and start putting money away now, rather than actually purchasing. Then when the house is sorted I would start the actual buying. That way you've plenty of time to plan and make the right choices about which items you need.

Start buying things whenever you want to lady. There’s no such thing as too early. I had things bought and ready before conceiving. There is no true safe zone. Yes Mc rates drop drastically after 12 weeks but unfortunately bad stuff can happen anytime after that. So if you want to buy things go for it. If you want to wait then wait. It’s a personal decision.

Buy whatever you want, just keep receipts and make sure where you’re buying from has a good refund policy (e.g refunds money not store credit)

I would say it's too early. I bought things early with my first pregnancy and I ended up miscarrying. It was so painful to pack those things away but still see them when I went looking for other stuff.

You can do laybys. Some places are 8wk terms or if you are lucky 12wk. I started looking around for the specials early on. I dont think I paid full price for anything.

Wait until 8 weeks and you've heard the heartbeat, at that point theres a 2% chance of miscarriage (much lower than what it currently is). You dont want to have to look at a load of baby stuff if the worst happens.

We waited a while to buy a lot of things (I’m 35 weeks now and we just got our travel system this past weekend) because we are in a small apartment and limited on space. But I did a lot of the research starting around 18 weeks and put a lot of things on our registry so I would remember which ones I picked out, even if I knew nobody would actually get them and we’d end up getting them ourselves (which we did end up doing with the travel system). 
If you see clothes that you absolutely fall in love with and can’t do without, though, I would go ahead and snap them up because a lot of the clothes I put on my registry a couple months ago are already out of stock now!
