35 weeker Twins 💜💙 problems with latch all of a sudden

Hi all,

So I delivered at 35 weeks exactly with my twins. They are now almost 8 weeks. At first they were both on Ng tubes and slowly started eating by breastfeeding and got to the point every feeding was by breast. Everything was just fine and great. I breastfed my first so I'm familiar with how it works but my first was full term and never had any issues latching.

So about a week ago is when I started having the problem. They will latch on but then they unlatch and like search for the boob when it's in their mouths. If that makes sense and they repeatedly do it. I can see milk is coming out because it runs out of their mouths (I overproduce so I usually pump a little before they eat because otherwise they'll drown) lol.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has this issue and/or ways to fix it. I really wanna continue feeding by breast but it's very frustrating! I heard it can be a phase but I don't wanna take the chance of it turning into something I can't fix. 😣
