It appeared in February when I started my job. It's red, dry, scabby, and occasionally itchy. It looks like eczema, but it could also be developed from tucking dirty trays under my arm at work. I work as a server and the trays are always wet and sticky from carrying food and drinks. When it's tucked under my arm, the area right above my elbow (which is where my rash is) sits directly on the tray.

I am in the process of making an appointment to get it checked out, but I was wondering of anyone here could help me identify it until I make it to the dermatologist? Also, do you suggest any lotions or creams that I can use to soothe the area? It's very irritated and very hard to not scratch.
