Follow up appointment

Do they check you down there at the follow up appointment? I have mine tomorrow at 7 weeks. I had a 9 pounds baby and no stitches but I do see I got a little tear I don’t know why I didn’t get stitches . I still feel uncomfortable down there if I do a lot of activities during the day. I haven’t had sex yet. I think I’m traumatized from pushing a 9 pounds baby 😫. Not looking forward to opening my legs again but my husband has needs lol.

EDIT: she checked me. Had a Pap smear and was sent for blood work. Everything is healed and I don’t have to go back. It wasn’t as uncomfortable as I thought I was going to be after having vaginal birth.
