DOES HE LOVE ME?!?!

So my bf and I have been together for almost a year. We’re taking things really slow for both his and my sake and haven’t told each other that we love each other yet. He sent me this today? His phone has been acting up and reading his messages for him even though he doesn’t open them. I just don’t understand why he would tell me this it just makes it awkward. If I were in his position I would have just ignored it and not told me... I’m confuzzled
