Would you still hide it?

Question

I’m 22 +1 and can still hide my bump if I wear something baggy. 
I’m interviewing for a new position. Would you tell them at this point in the pregnancy since leave isn’t that far out? Or would you try to hide it for a fair shot?
* I know they “cant” discriminate but of course some places still do.

Legally you don’t need to tell ANYONE until 30 days before your due date... legally. I interviewed while 5 months pregnant got the job and told them a month later only because they saw my belly. No issues.

I wouldn’t tell them. They don’t want to even have the chance to appear to discriminate, so you’re saving them potential stress honestly. If they don’t hire you, you will know it’s because they thought someone else was better suited for the position, not because you’re pregnant.

If it was still early yeah sure, but it seems dishonest to me to hide it that far along. It does effect the business. It’s good to establish honesty from the beginning and not fair to blind side them like that. 
It also makes a difference what the job is and how big the company is. I could potentially see it in a large business, but if it’s a smaller company its not right and puts them in a hard position.

You’ll have to tell them eventually. It’s unfortunate but possible they won’t hire you. Or if you wait to tell then they can find a reason to fire you since you’ll have to be gone in a couple months for delivery.
