Heart rate?

My heart rate has been high, the highest being 158. I’m 20 weeks, do I need to mention this to my doctor? I can be resting and it’s still in the 100’s?

Yes mention it. I started having high pulse around 9 weeks this pregnancy where my resting was about 110 and any activity it would go to 130-140s. They did EKGs and a few echocardiograms (heart ultrasounds) they put me on a beta blocker.

Yes mention it. I have been having the same issue and feeling palpitations on and off and my doctor had me follow up with a cardiologist just to make sure it was normal pregnancy symptoms and not something else. I went to the cardiologist today and he said my EKG was normal except for an elevated heart rate and he heard a slight murmur but both are common in pregnancy. He is also having me do an echocardiogram and 24 hour halter monitor just to rule anything else out, as he would with any pregnant patient experiencing palpitations, but so far it seems to be an unfortunately normal part of pregnancy.

For sure, honestly maybe call them sooner rather than later. I had an appointment today and mine was like 121 and they wanted me to sit down for a while and rechecked it. They were good with me going home when they rechecked and it had come down to like 106.
