Should I stop seeing him? ☹️ I think I’m in love with him.

Hey guys! I’m an 18 year old that is heading to college this fall. Almost two months ago I met this amazing man, let’s call him P, on a dating app. He is 19 and an absolute sweetheart.

Here’s where the trouble comes in. My dad absolutely disapproves of him. Why you ask? Because of how he looks. He’s a bigger man but that doesn’t matter to me at all. I know I’ve only known him a month but I know he’s a good man and looks don’t matter.

My father has threatened to kick me out of the house for being with him so I lie to him about where I’m going whenever I go out with him. Me and P hang out quite often, I’ve met his family and everything and they are absolute sweethearts.

I’ve lost my virginity to this man, and I really want to continue to be with him. P is aware that my father is not approving but I told him it was because my father does not want me to date. P isn’t exactly happy but we have discussed this. My dad was coming around and but now is not.

Am I being selfish being with him? What should I do? Any and all advice is welcomed.
