I want opinions... I don’t know what to think

Ok so I’m 17 and my family is strictly catholic. I’ve had a boyfriend for 11 months and we started to be sexually active. I’m scared to tell anyone bc I feel like it’s shamed on since I’m so young. I think I waited a pretty long time to make sure this guy means a lot to me before doing anything. Should I tell my family? Or should I just keep it a secret until I get married one day because I’m not supposed to have sex until marriage. I feel so dirty idk if it’s a normal thing.
