Is 10 months to late to try CIO?
I’m at my wits end. Rocking, bouncing, humming all for her to fight it HARD. I feel like a failure in comforting her. Naps are quick and easy but bedtime, is agony. No matter what routine I try she fights it hard. Kicking, screaming, crying, the whole bit. I don’t understand. It’s always been a challenge at night but enough is enough for both of us. I’m worried if I do CIO this late in the game, she will just stand and scream. I live in a apartment so I really don’t want CPS called on us. We do eat play sleep during the day. We’ve tried night going down with and with out a bottle.
Current routine is: she give sleep cues, quickly I wind her down with lights off, white noise, (on bath days take a dimly lit bath), sleep sack, bottle, pacifier, she start to drift asleep then the fight starts. We’ve tried long and short awake time before bed, 2 naps, 3 naps, sleep late in the morning, wake early in the morning. All the same result with the night fight with 2-3 night wakings.
ANY ADVICE PLEASE!!!!
