One time my neighbors pit bulls got into my yard and almost killed my dog, (he was never the same and did end up dying a couple months after) but my mom was trying to desperate them and screaming for my dad, and he came out and hit one with a frying pan😂 now I’m a HUGE animal lover and would never hit an animal but this was warranted. It was the only thing that made the dog let go of my babies throat

Yes. My dog had been attacked twice and both times I kicked the attacking dog numerous times repeatedly and it did not stop but it slowed down because it was distracted/in pain long enough for its owner to grab its collar. Sorry, not sorry.
I’ll kick your ribs/ass but I’m not sticking my hand in the way of your teeth. Don’t attack my dog and we have no problem. Dogs will be dogs but.... that’s on the owner. 🤷🏻‍♀️

No but I have pulled my dogs away from other dogs. My dogs are both small enough that I can pick them up

My dog has bitten another dog and I was actually punching and kicking him until he let go.  A kick from me is not going to do damage to my 110 lb German Shepherd and I’m glad I got him off of the other dog before he was seriously injured.

I have - a German Shepard ran out of his yard to attack my leashed bull terrier x greyhound, who was hiding behind me.
I used the side of my foot so as to not truly hurt the other dog - Dad used the same method with many a cattle dog.
