Same middle name ?

I just wanted everyone’s opinions , and what they would think . Do you think it would be weird for both of my sons to have the same middle name ? The name means a lot in both of our family’s , and we love it . Our first sons name is Carter James , and we wanted to name this baby Cayden James . Please just give me y’all a opinions .

My older two sisters have the same middle name. I always forget cause you rarely hear the middle name. I think its fine.

My husband, his dad, and his grandpa all have the middle name lee. So when naming our first son we chose Wyatt Lee. Wyatt was born at 22 weeks and didnt get to come home with us. So when naming our second son we chose Gunner Lee Allan, lee as a memorial to our first son and allan is my grandpas name. So if we have another son he will most likely have Lee in his name somewhere.

I personally think it’s a teensy bit strange but if it means a lot to you go for it! People name their kids a lot worse things so I think both having James as a middle name is fine.😂😂

Not at all! Me and my sister share the same middle name and we love it! My name is Antonnette Jane and hers is Lindsay Jane it came from our mom who’s name is Jeanne lol 🥰

I knew someone who named every daughter Farrah. She had 3 daughters. But they all had different middle names, so it was like Farrah Anne, Farrah Marie, etc. I didn’t think it was weird, and neither did that. Middle names should be even less weird in my opinion. I think it’s cute, actually.

I have a friend who has 3 boys and they all have the same middle name as their father. They all have the same exact initials too. It’s definitely not common, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. If you both love it and it has meaning, then go for it.
