When to start buying?

When are you guys going to start buying things, wether it be diapers or wipes even.

If you’re a first time momma, it can’t hurt to start early. It may be wise; however, to not make any large purchases until after baby’s first ultrasound (8-12 weeks), just in case. It is easier to spread the purchases out over a period of several months, rather than trying to get everything in the last month or two.

I’ve started buying/looking into buying maternity items. I just bought a seaband for morning sickness, belly butter for stretch marks, I’ll buy a maternity pillow as soon as I’m 13 weeks. I’ve already bought one maternity shirt but have a cart full ready to purchase. I’m only 5 weeks lol. I’ll try to wait until 12 weeks to buy the maternity clothes but I’m just so excited. Plus I am a second time mom so I have a lot of maternity clothes anyways. And since this is my second and my first is only 1.5 years old we have a lot of the baby things already.

I haven't bought anything other than a couple cute onesies. I had a miscarriage in May and don't want to buy too much if we have another.
I think once we reach the 12 week mark I will start buying more!! I'm 4 weeks and 3 days right now.
Also don't forget, you can definitely ask for diapers and wipes for the baby shower if you're having one!!

This will be my third and my oldest is only 4 so we have all the big stuff. I’ll probably start buying either a pack of diapers or wipes every week or so after my first ultrasound. 
I find it easier and more manageable to buy the small packs more often because it’s easier to add on $4 for a 3-pack of wipes or $6 for a small pack of diapers to what I’m already buying rather than buying a $35 big box. We use Target and Walmart brand diapers and Target wipes, so they don’t cost much. The tiny purchases really add up quickly!

I’m buying a pack of diapers and wipes with every paycheck. Different sizes each time. Also have a few gender neutral outfits. I’m only 5 weeks. But this is my plan.
