Will I lose supply if I break routine ?

Question

I have a 2 day-trip planned and have been stashing breastmilk in the freezer to make sure she’s getting bottle fed with my milk while I’m gone. 
I won’t have time to pump every 3-4 hours so it won’t be stimulation on demand. 
Just wondering if this will affect my supply? 
She will be 3 months when the trip takes place.

Yes, it probably will but once you’re back from your trip you can increase your supply if you work hard enough to do so.

It may slightly affect your supply some, but I think in the days after you return you’ll be able to get it back relatively easily with a return to your routine. Try to pump as often as you can while gone, even if you can’t save the milk and maybe buy a hand pump (I think the medella one is like $28 on Amazon, or there’s other brands too) to keep in your purse; that way you can excuse yourself to the rest room and at least relieve engorgement if need be. Babies change routines all the time and our bodies (and breasts) adjust accordingly, so I do not think it’s anything worth stressing too much over.

I definitely could. But everyone’s different. How often will you be able to pump? I’d try to stick to as close to 3-4 hours as possible.  You may also risk engorgement  if you wait to long in between pumps.
