I need advice

So I actually really enjoy my job, i cashier at a grocery store and I like the work and I like my coworkers, but I make 8.75/hour and the place doesn’t go much higher than that. Another girl there has been there for 4 years and makes 10. So I want to leave to find a higher paying job, and there are actually a lot of options for me now that I’m 18, but I’m sad to leave a workplace I enjoy so much. I got hired in December, should I stay till then so I’ve stayed a year, or should I start looking now? (I’m in high school and don’t have any bills to pay but I’m trying to save to move out and get a car)
