Do I need a doctors note to return to work?

So it hasn't been the full 6 weeks yet but alot of things have came up since I had the baby, like them putting her on special formula and alot of unexpected bills. I need to go back to work asap. Do I need a doctors approval before I do or can I just return back to work?

I do and my job asked me to come earlier so doctor has to see me sooner and clear me. If your past 3 weeks pp most likely he will clear you no problem.
