My c-section will not close

Hello ladies I gave birth to my son via C-section on July 2nd and now we're in August and my c-section will not close on one particular area it's in the middle my side areas are closed it's just a little area in the middle that will not close my doctor sees me once a week and just gave me Band-Aids and no stick pads to change everyday but he's not doing anything else is there something that I could add try to make it close or do. Or any ladies been in a similar situation and what their doctors did?
