Wax Play and Anal?

So my partner and I have decided to try a few new things in bed because right now we’ve only played around with like the basics of bdsm and very light things. He’s interested in wax play, has tried it on someone before and I am very new to the idea and have never experienced it. He’s also been really wanting to do anal and put a butt plug in me which I am down for though a little skeptical. Can anyone give any pointers or what to expect with either/both?

Wax play is surprisingly nice! We used a cheap $1 candle. The melting temp between a parafin candle & soy is only a few degrees but test it on the inside of your arm first to make sure you're not gonna burn delicate skin. One post suggested birthday candles but it caused a burn & blister so DO NOT do that without trying it first. Also stay away from hairy places.

Search out soy candles for an intro to wax play because it melts at a lower temp so it's a great way to work your way into it as opposed to say beeswax candles. As for plugs, I prefer metal because I enjoy the sensation of the cold metal. I bought a 3 pack set that has increasing sizes so it was good when I was first starting to get used to anal. They also have the silicone ones that are also good since they are more flexible and can be comfortable when starting out. It's about playing around with what's available to find what works for you and your partner. And always be safe and have fun 😉

Wax play is fun, I've only done it once but was blindfolded, and it was nice.
With anal, different positions are better than some depending on the person. I'd recommend lube and going very slowly
