My husband does not have the best relationship with his mother.. But every time they talk shes bringing up the usual "are you pregnant yet" comments as she knows we've been trying. Yesterday takes the cake though because he was complaining about how much more in taxes hes paying since his new job put him in a new tax bracket. She seriously told him its because we don't have kids.. As if thats a reason to get pregnant! Followed by "don't try so hard and it will happen". I was furious! She knows I have endometriosis so we aren't the lucky couple that can just have sex whenever and be surprised by a pregnancy.. It actually takes a lot of planning, testing, temping, and charting!

Shes also an RN so I figured she'd be a little more understanding of the process and I just got my period so her comments didn't sit with me right. I wanted to tell her it doesn't matter if we did get pregnant because my Husband doesn't want her to be a part of the kids life much anyways and to keep her comments to herself!
