No urge to pee ?

I had my Baby on Thursday. I got an epidural, 2nd baby. Short quick labor. No tear. But ever since I got the catheter removed I don’t get the urge to pee. I don’t have that “I need to pee” feeling. I had told the nurse at the hospital she said it should wear off. But this is going to be the 3rd day and nothing. I only pee because I make sure to go to the restroom every hour or so. And each and every time I have to go. Has anyone else experienced this ?? How long did it go on for ??

Lasted for two days. I used the peri bottle to spray warm water and stimulate me to go

This happened to me! It was like I couldn't feel my bladder at all for the first week postpartum. I literally had to set alarms and tried to remember to go every time before I fed my son. Everyone I know said they never had that so I thought I was the only one!

Yep. It happened for me until about 4 weeks pp. Even if you didn't tear, your whole pelvic floor needs some time to heal. Try working on kegels as much as possible and make sure you keep peeing regularly. If it still is an issue at 6 weeks, that is the point I'd talk to a doctor about different physical therapy options.

I didn’t feel the urge to pee for about 5 days, it started to worry me too lol.
