Skipped naps?

Question

Anyone’s almost 2 year olds skip a nap? My girl skipped her nap for the first time today, and I’m stressed out about it!
Need some reassurance that this can occasionally happen and still get back on track the next day. 
She just rolled around singing and talking in her crib for 2 hours. I def don’t want to drop the nap yet!

Yeah if we are super busy, then my daughter will sometimes skip a nap. We usually just do bedtime one hour earlier on those days. My MIL babysits her 3 days a week also, and I know she doesn’t always nap over there. I seem to be the only one she consistently takes naps for lol

My son just turned 2 and has been refusing naps for the last two months 😭 there will be a day here or there where he naps but most days he screams bloody murder if I put him in the crib. Other than that hes a really good sleeper. He'll sleep from 8 pm to 9 am the next day. I was so not ready for him to stop napping 😭

My little one has a strong will and recently had a few days of refusing to nap. She pulled two days in a row at most and then back to normal for two weeks. It's her stubborn nature and testing her limits combined with the natural way of toddlers - that just everything is more interesting and more important than napping. I think she might have taken those naps too in the end, but I added a lot of my own stress to the situation and ur made things worse. Whenever I can remain calm but firm she eventually falls asleep - and the few occasions when she doesn't nap she sleeps longer at night and the next day, so I think it's alright.

Kids need naps until they’re 3 or 4, so don’t worry about dropping it. My daughter definitely has days when she won’t nap (usually if she slept for like 5 minutes in the car🤦🏻‍♀️😂) and after usually a day or two of readjusting schedules she’s back to normal bedtimes and nap times. Sometimes she goes to bed early when she misses her nap and then she wakes up early then she naps early then she goes to bed maybe only a LITTLE early and then by day two she’s back to napping at a normal time.
