Do your toddlers know how to say their a, b, c’s or count 1-10 yet?

Yes. I think mainly through play and singing. Also partly little baby bum and cocomelon. They have lots of skits on counting. I don't believe in flash card type learning or drilling things into their head. The closest I have is the Dr. Suess abc book that I have been reading every now and then since she was a baby.

Yes she can count to 10 But not in english. We only speak to her in Armenian... The way We got her to learn was every time she went up and down the stairs we counted with her so each step she took she started counting. As far as the alphabet she doesn’t know the whole thing but she knows may be about 10 letters.

Yes, he does his ABCs and counts up to 20 consistently. I give a lot of credit to preschool because they teach it - including a lot of songs (some I’ve never heard of and he comes home singing them). They also were very helpful with his colors. 
At home we just reinforce and practice with toys. Like for counting, we have 20 steps up to the second floor of our condo - so we count those every day and have him say it out loud. Now he does it on his own and counts down when his toy rockets or cars race each other.

He knows random letters like B, L, U, Y, T, O, S, H, E,R. Mostly from a few of my favorite bed time tshirts lol ive got one that says Hooters, and Bull's so he will read them off to me, and if he sees them elsewhere he will say them. If we're playing our jumping game hr will count to 3 then jump, but if were counting blocks or cars he always counts 2,4,5,6 lol. He knows the colors blue, yellow which is his favorite, purple, white, were 50/50 on green and red, and black.  We dont focus a lot of time to learning those things however, we try to teach more life skills, like manners, laundry, how to clean up after yourself, etc.

My daughter does. She’s been speaking since she was one and just recently really got her abc’s down. We listen to a lot of kid music and sing a lot. She loves to sing. We also play hide and seek, she usually counts to 15- but is often all over the place. I’m a teacher and definitely know all babies/kids learn at their own pace. Nothing to worry about if your child doesn’t quite now yet.

My daughter only knows them as part of a routine. Like if we’re jumping, we’ll say “3, 2, 1, go!” So she’ll say “3 2 1” but she has no clue what it means yet. We also have a book that counts dinosaurs and when we get to the end she’ll go “1,2,3,4,5” but again I think it’s more like she knows that’s what we do when we get to that page. If I were to ask her to give me 3 of something I don’t think she’d know what I meant. 
As far as a,b,c, it doesn’t really come up a lot outside a couple alphabet books we have, so not really. 
But I always say I don’t know a single adult who can’t count to 10, recite the alphabet, or tell me what color something is. This is all stuff she will pick up simply by existing and by being communicated with by people who do know numbers and letters and colors and stuff. We’re planning to do unschooling so we’re very unstructured in the way we expect her to learn, we’re all about learning by experience.
