Anyone still do skin-to-skin??

I was told baby is to “old” for skin to skin. But whatever, my LO & I have skin to skin contact every night before bed while he eats and I sing to him and he is so calm and happy doing so. Not sure why I got belittled because for us it’s still normal.

What an odd thing for someone to say to you. I still do it while nursing. It’s a great tool. Babies need that❤️

I still do it. Ignore the haters. I blame the industrial age for pushing this 'make-independent-mini-adults' approach to parenting. Babies need love and attention in order to flourish. You skin-to-skin with your bub and ignore what those Victorians say.
