Future Mother in law issues

So long story short, we went back to AZ to visit my fiances family in June so they could meet our little one for the first time. Towards the end of the trip, my SO's mom's boyfriend came in from outside and beat the crap out of my fiance. He is already handicap from breaking his back so he doesn't have the best balance to begin with. Both of the girls witnessed it. My SO and I both deleted his mom, brother and sister in law off of Facebook. Well this morning I get a text from his mom and idk what to do. SO says it's up to me if I want to send pictures or not. Part of me wants to but the other part of me says no. I'm at a loss of words and don't know what to do! Any help appreciated!!!!
