What did baby sleep In?

When they were fresh out of the hospital? I don’t have much room for a crib as I stay in a one bedroom apartment. Just wondering what was best for everyone’s baby when they were newborn? I wanted a bassinet that sits up on the side of the bed so I can just grab her in the middle of the night. I’m 8 months and time is getting close. I doubt anyone buy a bassinet at the baby shower so I’ll have to see what fits best

We have been bed sharing since the day he was born. He slept w me on the hospital bed & he sleeps w me on my bed till this day. he's 4 months.

Pack n play has been what my LO has been in sense we brought him home we will be skipping crib and going to toddler bed when he is ready.

With my son I used a bassinet but it was a waste, so I switched to the pack n play and he’s been in it since then. At about a year he would go back and forth from our bed to his lol but right now he comes in our bed most of the time cause I’m pregnant. 
For this baby we’re doing pack n play from the start. No cribs for them.

I’ve always done crib from the get go so that I don’t have to worry about transitioning down the road. My kids accepted and loved their crib from the very start.

I have both a bassinet and a pack and play with a bassinet attachment that I plan on using for baby. One in bedroom and one in living room because I occasionally sleep on couch. I was actually given the bassinet at my shower and pack and play I found on facebook marketplace for $70. It was same one I added to registry and was worth over double that. We currently have only 1 bedroom for us and baby so understand the limited space.
