Post partum bleeding - ideas needed

Hey ladies- so last baby I bought heavy duty pads for the post partum bleeding and I needed them- so much blood! However, and this was awful, I had an allergic reaction to something in the pads. I haven’t worn pads since I was a teenager- so who knows what caused it, but I do not want to go through that again! Anyone out there have super sensitive skin and have an alternative solution for me? Right now I’m looking at the organic hypoallergenic pads? Or thinx maybe? Any thoughts? Typically on my period I wear a cup but obviously can’t do that here. Thank you! Just tying to be prepared before baby gets here!
