Did your dogs sense your labor?

Question

The last like two or three nights my dog, who normally sleeps under our bed in his dog bed, will not sleep on the floor. He has to be at my feet on the bed and if I tell him to get down it lasts maybe two minutes of him pacing around the room and then he’s back up on the bed. I’m 37+4, been having all the usual early labor signs, and I had my first naturally at 38 weeks.

Our German Shepherd used to sleep downstairs on our couch and for the last 2 weeks he’s been either at my head, on my side, at my feet or right near my bedroom door sleeping. He definitely knows something’s going on lol every time I get up in the middle of the night and waddle to the bathroom he watches me until I’m back in bed or will follow me to and from the bathroom.

I'm 37 weeks today and my dog has started following me more often and closer. The other day she even laid outside of the bathtub while I showered. I think she knows something's going on

My oldest cat usually wants nothing to do with anyone in the family. He sleeps on the couch every night. Last night he curled up next to me and slept with me all night. I had been feeling weird all day so it makes me wonder... 🤔

With my first my husbands dog did, or atleast I think so because of how he was acting towards me. At the time we were living in an apartment and his dog was at his parents house which was like 15 minutes from us. When we went over we were outside in the yard getting somethings from his parents barn, his dog never pays attention to me when my husband or MIL are around, so when my husband walked off his dog started to follow but then turned around and looked at me and came back and walked right next to me nudging my hand and he wouldn’t leave my side. Even as we went in the house he followed us inside and sat next to me. I was sooo confused. A couple hours later I went to the bathroom and there was my bloody show. I had my daughter just under 24 hrs later.

I’m 36 weeks and my dog has been very clingy the past 4 days. Last pregnancy she didn’t want anything to do with me (I think all the changes scared her, but she was fine after we brought our son home). This time though she’s been fine with me, but now sleeps on my side of the bed, follows me around the house, whenever I get up she does too. I think she knows something is up

My dog has been extra attached lately too. Don't think I'm going into labor yet, but getting closer to the due date. I'm just over 37 weeks.
