Mine were totally different. Period cramps were a deep heavy pressure like cramp that ran down my legs and pulsated. Pregnancy cramps are just light but sharp twinges that last a few seconds. Almost like a pinch.

The cramps I had when I found out I was pregnant were much more intense than pms. I'm not much of a cramper during PMS so maybe that's my issue
