VCI and CP?

Did anyone else have velamentous cord insertion and have baby with cerebral palsy?

My 9mo is currently being assessed for global developmental delays and I’m terrified it’s CP.

Birth was traumatic after a non-reassuring CTG, reduced movements, low AFI, all believed to be related to VCI. The cord was tightly around my baby’s neck twice. Along with bleeding during pregnancy from 14-20 weeks resulting an a hemotoma behind the placenta.

I’m sick with worry.
