Yeast infection??

I could do with some help, over the last 2 days or so I’ve noticed I had lots of discharge but I kinda just ignored it because I thought my period could be starting soon and I usually get more discharge before that. But then today I’ve noticed it was chunkier, and when I actually got some out of my vagina there was a fair amount of chunkier discharge. It just has the ‘normal discharge’ smell and I don’t have any itching or burning when I pee- but for the last 3/4 days I’ve felt uncomfortable, as if there was something in my vagina but there was never anything there, until I noticed the chunky discharge. I’m a virgin and not sexually active at all so I’ve ruled out any STI’s/STD’s. Any advice will be welcomed, I don’t know anyone in real life who’s had a yeast infection (I’m only 17 lol) so you guys will be a lifesaver for me. Thankyou 🥰

I live in the UK so idk if the types of medication will be different to elsewhere, but what do people recommend if it is a yeast infection? I don’t have a gynaecologist or anything like that so I wouldn’t know who to see at my doctors.

Would using a yeast infection medication harm me if I took it and I didn’t actually have a yeast infection? Sorry for all the questions lmao I’m paranoid and unprepared.
