Is it okay to have ab relationship when you both are 17 years old?

My mother says that people in these years don't know and can't know what "love" is.So she doesn't want to get to know my boyfriend.And we are 2years together.But we can't hang up at our homes.My mom doesnt wan this.Because,this family thing,get to know the partners parents is just for people 20+ years old who are getfing married in a half year.Idk but this isn't fair to me.

Yes! Everyone in my family has met their partner at a very young age. My great grandma was 14, stayed together the rest of their lives, grandma was 17, my brother started dating his wife at 15 and still together and married at 25. I’m currently pregnant and engaged, got together at 14. It does make things harder because people grow up. But you can either grow together or apart.
