IUGR baby

Has anyone ever had a baby with IUGR and then had another baby and everything be normal? Or did the second baby also have IUGR?

My dr said I had the smallest uterus she’s ever seen when I had my son, the placenta also didn’t form correctly so my son wasn’t able to grow anymore. He was only 3lbs when he was born at 36 weeks. I’m not sure if I want to have more kids due to the risks and experience with my first but I’m wondering if anyone has had the same situation and it turned out differently with later pregnancies?
