PLEASE Help! Epidural/Tubal Questions?

Did anyone have a tubal performed after delivery? I had an epidural with my delivery and have been getting a headache every day since then. Plus, I’ve been filled with gas for 5 days straight due to my tubal surgery. I’ve been taking GasX but I haven’t gotten much relief and the pain is excruciating. Has anyone had these problems?

Yeah that’s a spinal headache. It should go away in the next week or so as your spine heals from the epidural and spinal.
As for the gas, that’s from your tubal. That should go away in the next week, too.
I dealt with both and I’m now 13 days postpartum and feeling back to my normal self.

I had an epidural but it didn’t work, I also got the tubal the day after. I’m three days post tubal and I am still having pain and bloating, unfortunately it’s normal. Just keep an eye out for redness around the incision, anything coming from the incision (blood, oozing, etc.) and fever.

It may be a spinal headache that can occur when you get an epidural.  Essentially some spinal fluid may have leaked - stay hydrated and laying down tends to help ease the pain.  Coffee may help with lessening the pain due to caffeine!
