Pregnancy weight gain
I’ve seen the recommendations for how much women should gain in pregnancy, but I’m interested in what typical/real actual experiences are. I’m 21 weeks, was about 10-15 lbs overweight at the start of the pregnancy, and have gained 12 lbs so far.
This seems a little over where I’m supposed to be. I think I’ve made good food choices (mostly plant-based diet, vegetarian proteins, mostly whole and organic foods that I cook from scratch. And while I don’t exercise a lot, I do walk 20-30 minutes most days.
I’m interested in hearing about the experiences of others. How much weight had you gained at 21 weeks? In general, did you gain or or less than was recommended in your pregnancy? Did your dietary choices seem to make a difference?
